CoBuild is Indisight's industry residency: real problems from partners, work that ships every round, and a clear record of who built what.
CoBuild is the residency layer of Indisight. Where the wider platform observes how meaningful work gets made, CoBuild is where that work is made: in cohorts, on real problems, against an honest standard.
Every cycle begins with a problem a partner company actually has. Teams form, scope the work, and build toward something that holds up outside a slide. There is no hypothetical brief and no abstract coursework.

Progress is measured the way serious work is measured: across several dimensions, by people qualified to judge it, round after round. Teams that show the strongest problem fit, execution, and originality advance. The others leave with a clear account of where they stood.
What remains at the end is not a certificate. It is evidence: a trail of submissions, scores, and decisions that shows how something was built, and by whom.
Four rounds, narrowing to the work that lasts.
A cycle runs as a funnel. Many teams begin; the ones whose work survives scrutiny advance. Each round raises the bar, and the realism, until what remains is built, deployed, and defended.
Cohort remaining at each round, at the default gate (passRate 0.5). Pass rates are configurable per round.
Discovery
Teams meet the problem, the partner, and each other. The first round is about framing: understanding what is actually being asked, and proposing a credible direction.
Build Sprint
Direction becomes artefact. Teams build the first working version of the solution and submit it for evaluation against the rubric.
Deployment Residency
The work moves toward the conditions it was meant for. Teams harden, deploy, and show that the solution holds up beyond the demo.
Demo Day
The final round. Surviving teams present to partners and jury. What advances here is not a pitch; it is a built thing, judged on its merits.
For Students
Work on a problem that has a name and an owner. You form a team, ship something every round, and leave with a record of exactly what you built.
